Vancouver Whitecaps coming to PPL Park for Home Opener
Philadelphia Union will kick off the 2011 season against the Houston Dynamo at Robertson Stadium on Saturday, March 19 at 8:30 p.m. EST, the League announced today. The Union will return home to PPL Park to face Major League Soccer newcomer Vancouver Whitecaps FC on Saturday, March 26 at 4:00 p.m.

Union Lose Seitz, Fred in Re-Entry Draft →
Stage 2 of the MLS Re-Entry Process came and went on Wednesday, and as anticipated there was plenty of player movement. Goalkeeper Chris Seitz was selected by the Seattle Sounders with the ninth pick in the first round, and midfielder Fred was selected by the New England Revolution with the fourth pick of the second round. The Union passed with the third overall selection.

Okugo, McInerney Named to US U-20 Roster →
Philadelphia Union’s Amobi Okugo and Jack McInerney have been named to the U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team roster that will be training at Sunrise, Florida, from December 12-19. The camp will include two friendlies against Canada on December 16 and December 18.
