The Union has yet to confirm it traded top goalscorer Sebastien Le Toux to Vancouver, but they don’t have to: Le Toux himself announced what many supporters have dreaded via Twitter.
On Tuesday morning, Le Toux posted on the site: “Just got traded to Vancouver! Saddest day for me in my Philadelphia Union story…Still can’t believe it” confirming a report in today’s Daily News that suggested the Union looked to Vancouver to move the 28-year-old Frenchman after a failed trial at English Premier League club Bolton.
